Mango Iced Tea Ingredients
To make this mango iced tea recipe, you will need water, tea bags, mango nectar, honey, mango slices, mint leaves and raspberries.
How Do You Make Mango Iced Tea?
Boil the water, then add the tea bags to the water and let the tea steep for 3-5 minutes. Pour in the mango nectar, along with some honey to taste. Add the mango slices to the tea, then chill. Stir in the raspberries right before you serve the tea. Garnish with extra mango slices and fresh mint if desired, then serve and enjoy. Add some ice cubes if it’s an extra hot day!
Tips For The Perfect Drink
- If you prefer a stronger tea, let the tea bags steep for 5 minutes. For tea with a less intense flavor, let the bags steep for 3 minutes.
- You can use mango nectar or mango juice in this recipe. In my opinion, it’s easier to locate mango nectar than mango juice. Mango nectar does contain sugar, so if you use the nectar you won’t need as much honey. You could also use fresh mango puree if you prefer.
- I typically start with 1 tablespoon of honey, then add more as needed.
- This drink will stay fresh in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
Quick Tip
No fresh mango on hand? You can also make this recipe with frozen mango chunks if need be.

Flavor Variations
This recipe is delicious as-is, but you can easily customize the ingredients to your tastes.
- Tea: No black tea on hand? Try green tea bags, white tea or oolong tea. Just avoid teas that already contain flavorings such as cinnamon, orange or mint.
- Fruit: This recipe can be made with other types of fruit and juices. Some great options include pineapple with pineapple juice and lime slices, fresh berries with cherry juice, apples with apple cider, and sliced oranges with orange juice.
- Sweetener: Instead of honey, try using agave nectar or brown sugar. You can also make a simple syrup by boiling equal parts of sugar and water until a syrup forms.
- Cocktail: Try making a spiked mango tea by adding 1/2 cup of vodka.
