How Do You Make A Watermelon Mojito?
Place sugar in a bowl with hot water and stir to make a simple syrup. Pour the syrup into a glass and add the mint leaves. Use a muddler to crush the mint. Add ice on top of the mint mixture, then pour in watermelon juice, lime juice, rum and club soda. Stir gently to combine, then add garnishes and serve.

Tips For The Perfect Drink
- You will need to use a muddler tool to pulverize the mint leaves for the most authentic flavor. Muddlers can be purchased at kitchen supply stores or online.
- This recipe makes one watermelon mojito. You can change the number of servings in the recipe card to suit the size of your group and the ingredient amounts will scale up accordingly.
- I find it easiest to use store bought refrigerated watermelon juice. You can also puree 1 cup of watermelon chunks in a blender and use that instead. If you use watermelon puree, you may want to put it through a strainer before you proceed with the recipe.
- Use freshly squeezed lime juice for the best flavor.
Quick Tip
For an elegant presentation, dip the rim of your glass in water, then place the rim of the glass on a plate of sugar to get a frosted look.
