Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Prepare the carne asada according to recipe directions.
While the carne asada is cooking, place the french fries on a sheet pan coated with cooking spray and bake according to package directions.
Slice the meat against the grain, then cut it into bite sized pieces.
Arrange the french fries in a skillet or on a sheet pan. Sprinkle the cheese over the fries, them top with the steak.
Bake the fries for 5-6 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Remove the pan from the oven. Top the fries with pico de gallo, guacamole and sour cream. Serve immediately, garnished with cilanto and lime wedges if desired.
Notes
You can use any style french fry you like, simply bake them according to the package directions.
Don't use pre-shredded cheese. It often contains anti-caking agents and tends not to melt well.
Chop your carne asada in to similar sized chunks that you can eat with french fries.
