Strawberry Agua Fresca
This strawberry agua fresca recipe contains fresh strawberries, water, lime juice and sugar, all blended together to make a colorful drink. A quick and easy beverage that's perfect for a hot day!

4 cups diced strawberries 1 1/2 tablespoons lime juice 1/2 cup sugar 4 cups water divided use mint sprigs, lime slices, strawberry slices optional
Place the strawberries, lime juice, sugar and 2 cups of the water in a blender. Blend until smooth.
Strain the fruit mixture into a pitcher and discard solids. Add the remaining water to the pitcher and stir to combine.
Chill until ready to serve.
Garnish with mint, lime and fresh fruit if desired.
I recommend using fresh strawberries, as they tend to be sweeter than frozen berries.
Agua fresca will stay fresh in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Use freshly squeezed lime juice for the best results.
