  • 3 cups cherry juice
  • 3 cups water
  • ½ cup granulated sugar

  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 8 whole cloves
  • 4 hibiscus or berry tea bags
  • garnishes such as more whole spices, orange slices and cranberries optional

Instructions

  • Place the apple cider, orange juice, cherry juice, water, sugar, star anise, cinnamon sticks and cloves in a large pot over medium heat. Stir to combine.
  • Bring to a simmer and cook for 15 minutes.
  • Remove the pot from the heat. Add the tea bags.
  • Let the tea bags steep for 10 minutes, then discard the tea bags.
  • Serve, with additional garnishes if desired.

Notes

  1. If you’re serving a crowd and need to keep the punch warm, you can let it sit on the stove on the lowest heat setting, or transfer it to a crock pot and use the keep warm option. You can also put it in a thermos for travel purposes.
