This Christmas popcorn is a sweet and savory blend of popcorn, white chocolate, dark chocolate, M&M's and holiday sprinkles. The ultimate quick and easy snack for parties!
Place the popcorn in a very large bowl. Line a sheet pan with parchment or a nonstick baking mat.
Pour the white candy melts into a medium heat safe bowl. Microwave in 30 second increments until the candy melts have melted. Stir until smooth.
Add the M&M's to the bowl with the popcorn. Drizzle half of the white candy melts over the popcorn. Stir gently to combine. Add the rest of the candy melts and toss one more time.
Spread the popcorn, candy melt and M&M mixture into an even layer on the sheet pan.
Pour the dark candy melts into a small heat safe bowl. Microwave in 30 second increments until the candy has melted.
Transfer the melted dark melts to a disposable piping bag or to one corner of a gallon sized freezer bag. Snip the tip.
Use the piping bag to drizzle a thin layer of dark chocolate over the popcorn.
Immediately add the sprinkles on top of the melted dark drizzle.
Let the popcorn sit at room temperature until the candy melts set. Break into pieces and serve.
Notes
Christmas popcorn will stay fresh in an airtight container for up to one week.
I recommend using Ghirardelli melting wafers. They are very easy to work with and have a great flavor.
