This mojito mocktail is a non-alcoholic drink made with fresh mint leaves, lime juice, sugar and club soda. A take on the classic mojito recipe but without the rum!
Mix together the sugar and hot water in a small bowl until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Place the mint leaves and sugar syrup in the bottom of a glass. Use a muddler and muddle everything together until the mint leaves are crushed.
Add ice on top of the sugar mint mixture. Pour in the lime juice and club soda.
Stir to combine.
Garnish with lime slices and mint sprigs if desired, then serve.
Notes
Use a muddler tool to crush the mint leaves for the most authentic flavor. Muddlers can be purchased at kitchen supply stores or online.
