Pizza Muffins

These pizza muffins are crescent roll cups filled with pizza sauce, cheese and pepperoni, then baked to golden brown perfection. A fun recipe for pizza bites that's the perfect appetizer, light meal or after school snack!

Ingredients

  • 1 tube crescent roll sheet dough
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/3 cup mini pepperoni
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • cooking spray

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Coat 8 cups of a muffin pan with cooking spray.
  • Unroll the crescent roll sheet and cut into 8 squares.
  • Press one square of dough into each of the 8 muffin pan wells.
  • Spoon the sauce evenly among the muffin cups and top with the shredded cheese and pepperoni.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes or until dough is browned and cheese is melted.
  • Sprinkle with parsley and serve.

Notes

  1. For this recipe, you'll want to look for crescent roll dough sheets, they come in a can just like regular crescent rolls.
  2. You can cut your crescent roll dough with a pizza cutter
