1 cup heavy cream 12 ounces semisweet chocolate coarsely chopped 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract Assorted dippers such as berries, bananas, pound cake, pretzels and cookies
Heat the heavy cream in a pan over medium heat until hot, there should be bubbles around the sides of the pan. Do not boil.
Add the chocolate to the pan. Turn off the heat. Whisk until completely smooth.
Stir in the vanilla extract. Serve immediately with dippers.
