210 ounce packagesvanilla baking chipscan also use vanilla almond bark or white chocolate chips
114 ounce cansweetened condensed milk
1/4teaspoonpeppermint extract
1 1/2cupscrushed candy canesdivided use

Instructions
Line an 8 or 9 inch square pan with foil; coat with cooking spray.
Place the vanilla baking chips and condensed milk in a large bowl. Microwave in 30 second increments until melted; stir until smooth.
Fold 1 cup of the crushed candy canes into the fudge and spread into an even layer in the pan. Press the remaining 1/2 cup candy canes into the top of the fudge.
Chill until set, then cut into squares and serve.
Notes
To crush candy canes, place them in a resealable plastic bag and cover with a towel. Use the flat end of a meat mallet or a rolling pin to crush the candy canes.
Look for white chocolate chips that contain cocoa butter rather than palm oil for the best flavor.
